Christina Chia Li Eng
Christina Chia is the founding partner of CCNP. She has developed a broad-based Corporate & commercial, Real Estate, Private Equity and Commercial Litigation practices which include legal advisory and transactional corporate work, such as advising vendors, purchasers, as well as corporations and other professional advisers in structuring and disposals of shares, assets, real estate and businesses, corporate restructuring & reorganizations, regional investments, corporate and commercial dispute work, Tenancies and Trust related matters. In this respect, she has handled all matters from complex issues to brainstorming with clients on corporate structures, to negotiations and drafting of various legal documentations.
Prior to her establishment of CCNP in 1987, Christina had 5 years in an established legal firm Kuala Lumpur and thereafter she joined Landmarks Holding Berhad(formerly known as Landmarks Berhad), a public listed company on Bursa Malaysia as a Corporate Legal Adviser for 3 years.
Christina graduated from the university of London in 1978. She was admitted as a barrister-at-law to the Honorable Society of Gray's Inn, London in 1979. She is also admitted as advocates and solicitors of the Supreme Court of Singapore and the High Court of Malaya. She also obtained her Masters of Laws and Business Administration from the University of London and Cranfield School of Management in UK. Her Masters of Business Administration training and her practice exposure gained in the corporate work gave her a very well rounded experience and ability to advise from the legal as well as the commercial aspects of all matters including advising small medium enterprise on their business venture and growth.
She currently heads CCNP's Corporate and Commercial Practice Group. Christina is a registered trade mark agent and a member of the Asia Offshore Association. Christina's hobby is the study of human mind and thoughts and she is the author og the book entitled MIND GARDEN and she is able to value adds to her clients with her knowledge on the Law of the Mind.
