Ng Yoke Cheng


NG YOKE CHENG is one of the founding partners of CCNP. She currently heads the Conveyancing and Corporate Banking Department. Her areas of expertise and practice over the past 30 years has been in mergers and acquisitions of companies as well as in Banking and Corporate finance law. She has been involved in several major Property deals in the Klang Valley and had also advised on the reverse takeovers of public listed companies on Bursa Malaysia.

A graduate of Queen Mary College, University of London, she was admitted to the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn on 26th July 1979, and was admitted and enrolled as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 23rd September 1980. She has also a Masters degree in Law from the University of London and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Cranfield School of Management, UK. Yoke Cheng has been admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore on 9th January 1991. She is also a Notary Public.

Since Yoke Cheng became a partner of CCNP, her areas of practice consist predominantly of corporate matters which include sale and purchase of shares in private limited companies, unlisted public limited companies and public listed companies; issuance of new securities by public listed companies and new listing of public companies on Bursa Malaysia. She has assisted in structuring new businesses and joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and mergers and acquisitions, and financing for development projects.

Yoke Cheng is very experienced in corporate and commercial banking matters and is presently the head of the Corporate Banking department. She is also well versed in the real estate market in Malaysia and regularly advises and acts for the management and developers of multi-storey buildings and shopping complexes.

An avid reader, Yoke Cheng is proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Cantonese.
