LeonardTeoh Hooi Leong

Mr. Leonard Teoh is one of the most senior lawyers practicing as an Advocate & Solicitor in Malaysia. Leonard read law in the then University of Malaya in Singapore and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the then University of Singapore on 11th June, 1966. Leonard was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor on 27th July 1967.

Thereafter, having gained some experience in practice as a litigator, Leonard joined the private sector as the Group Legal Advisor for the next 15 years.

On 1st July, 1991, Leonard returned to legal practice first as a sole proprietor of Leonard Teoh & Co. and then was a partner in the legal firm of Leonard Teoh & James Lau. When Mr. James Lau Tiong Jin retired from legal practice, Leonard continued the practice until 31st May 2008 when he merged his legal practice with our firm. Leonard is now a valuable partner of our legal firm.

His area of practice includes Land and Property conveyancing, Banking and Finance documentation, corporate restructuring including joint ventures and public listing of equity or bond issues, bankruptcy and Insolvency. The litigation cases handled by him comprised of civil litigation, and involved matters on commercial, corporate, banking and land law.
